Since I started working at this organization, I realized that my life has completely changed. I am loved and cared for by many people, especially by the TASSEL family.
In secondary school, I cared for cows and struggled to study. Meeting Teacher Joji led me to TASSEL, where I’m dedicated to helping children and changing my country.
Over the past five years, TASSEL has become my second home and family. It has helped me grow both personally and professionally, while teaching me the value of kindness, care, and the importance of giving back.
TASSEL’s consistent guidance helps me to increase my potential in work. TASSEL showed me the path of a brighter world, which makes me able to grasp this opportunity.
TASSEL completely gives love and hope to all the children and the poor. TASSEL truly changes lives and builds more and more good and kind people and transform people to have pure hearts.
Being a teacher at TASSEL, teaching English alone is not enough. I have to understand their current situations and be kind and be available whenever they need help.
TASSEL makes the saddest families who have lost hope and who have been suffering smile again. TASSEL also shapes a brighter future for hundreds of children.
Coming from a poor family, I understand these struggles. TASSEL lets me help and brings hope as I see kids' lives improve. I'm truly grateful to be part of it.
Through TASSEL, I got the answer to my question “How can the poor help the poor?” It does not matter how small or big the help and love you give to the poor is....
I joined TASSEL over 10 years ago to help the poor, especially the elderly, after struggling with poverty. Its focus on quality education has allowed me to make a meaningful impact.
Through TASSEL, I believe Cambodia will become a better country. TASSEL is a sanctuary, a home, and a hope, where love and support create lasting change.
Because of the examples I saw from the foreigners as well as from the Cambodian TASSEL teachers, I decided I wanted to become a TASSEL teacher and also help poor children and villagers in my country.
The elderly lost everything during the Khmer Rouge, with many dying of hunger or senseless violence. Thankfully, TASSEL now brings them much-needed hope and care.
Before I joined TASSEL, I only worked to earn money. After I joined TASSEL, I changed my mind. I really love teaching the students at TASSEL. Their situations are not really different from mine.
It is my honor to be a part of the missions and I am willing to do my best for the great changes of the people's lives. TASSEL magic is putting big smiles on the hopeless people.
Through TASSEL’s support, I, along with many others, am able to achieve our dream of being educated and helping others like us, creating a path toward a better future.
TASSEL is my family, where I can share love and support those who face immense struggles. I feel deeply connected to the students and villagers, bringing hope to their lives.
I am surrounded by unconditional love from both Khmer and foreign teachers at TASSEL. I promise to spread this same love to my students and to those in need in my community.
The reason why I decided to join TASSEL was because TASSEL is an organization which has been working to serve the poor children and old people in rural areas without discriminating.
I have the chance to help villagers by visiting their homes and listening to their struggles. Their problems mirror my own, so I deeply understand their situations.
Some elderly in TASSEL were once soldiers of the Khmer Rouge or government, and many lost limbs in the war. I hope TASSEL can create more lasting opportunities for those in need.
TASSEL feels like my second home, where everyone treats each other like family. I’m grateful for the chance to join and be part of its life-changing programs over the past 9 years.
When students gain knowledge, they can have good jobs and support their families. Ultimately, they will be able to share their knowledge with the next generation.
